PLTW Wisconsin Mission

The Wisconsin PLTW State Leadership team champions the successful implementation of PLTW to advance Wisconsin's educational and workforce initiatives.



What is Project Lead the Way?
PLTW is a not for profit organization dedicated to preparing middle and high school students for careers in the technical,high wage sector of engineering and engineering technology.

It started in 1996 in upstate New York with funding from anentrepreneur and his family. They believe that, to stay competitively globally, America needs to systemically strengthen education in technology and engineering.


Attention Teachers: The Autodesk Student Engineering and Design Community is a place where teachers and students can access popular 3D design software along with teaching and learning resources. (click to download)
