What is Project Lead the Way?

PLTW is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing
middle and high school students for careers in the technical,
high wage sector of engineering and engineering technology.

It started in 1996 in upstate New York with funding from an
entrepreneur and his family. They believe that, to stay competitively globally, America needs to systemically strengthen education in technology and engineering.
